Urban House renewal

Belgrade 2024 – Full service architecture and interior design & execution

This reeconstruction of a private 183 square meters apartment engages in a dialogue between the apartment’s 1990s origin and a contemporary way of living. The design preserves key elements – most notably the marble floor and selected carpentry – which carried the recognizable signature of the original author, Milan Palisaski.

The approach embraces the rawness of materials and the visibility of layers. New interventions introduce fluid transitions – allowing traces of the past to remain present, both visually and materially.
Through this balance, the interior gains a renewed structure – contemporary in experience yet grounded in its
originaI identity.

Light unites contrasting materials, allowing wood and metal to form a refined composition.
